Experience and relax
Britzer Garten
The Britzer Garten is a large, well-maintained park and garden area in the south of Berlin and one of the city’s most popular recreational destinations.
It was created for the 1985 Federal Garden Show and today covers around 90 hectares of diverse landscapes, including lakes, themed gardens, playgrounds, and wide open lawns.
It is especially known for its colorful flower beds, rose gardens, and seasonal plant displays that offer changing scenery throughout the year. Visitors can walk, jog, have a picnic, or simply relax. Families will find large playgrounds, a petting zoo, and a park railway that runs through the grounds.
Cultural events and small concerts are also held regularly.
The park is easily accessible and ideal for a peaceful nature escape away from central Berlin, especially for guests coming from Schönefeld or Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
